Account and settings

What lives on the Settings page, and how to change the things that show up on every Peppol document you send.

Sender profile

Your sender profile is the legal-identity block printed on every Peppol document. It includes:

  • Legal name. Pulled from Stripe, editable on Peppost.
  • Country. Drives the default identifier scheme (VAT number scheme, company number scheme, etc.).
  • VAT number. Used as your Peppol participant identifier under scheme 9925 for Belgian companies and the equivalent scheme for other EU jurisdictions.
  • Company number. An optional secondary identifier (scheme 0208) when your country uses a company registry separate from the VAT register.
  • Registered address. Street, city, postcode, and country, as they appear on official documents.
  • Contact email. The address used on outbound documents and for delivery notifications.

Edits saved on the Settings page take effect on the very next send. Existing send records keep the sender details that were used at the time of dispatch.

Peppol registration

The Settings page shows your Peppol participant ID and the schemes you are registered for. Peppost registers you for the standard outbound invoice and credit-note profiles by default.

If your sender details change in a way that affects your participant ID (for example, a new VAT number after a corporate restructure), let support know — we will re-register you and deprovision the old identifier.

Stripe Connect link

The Settings page shows the connected Stripe account ID and whether it is in test or live mode. Peppost re-fetches your Stripe profile periodically so that legal-name and address changes you make in Stripe propagate without requiring a manual re-link.

You can disconnect the Stripe account in two ways:

  • From Peppost → Settings → Disconnect Stripe.
  • From Stripe Dashboard → Settings → Connected applications, by revoking access for Peppost.

Either path stops Peppost from accessing the account immediately. Existing credit balances and send history remain on file, and you can reconnect the account later without losing any of it.

Theme

Peppost supports light, dark, and system themes. The toggle is in the sidebar and the choice is stored in a cookie scoped to your browser.
